Measurement

The Safe and Sound Micro RF Detector is designed to meet our professional standards of accuracy and reliability – all in a comfortably wearable package with discrete, active measurement. This device represents the latest in compact RF detector technology. It has been tested in multiple third party labs and in both anechoic and reverberation chambers. The body shadow effects and temperature variation have been compensated for in the calibration of each device. This sensitive device is capable of measuring potentially harmful RF or microwave radiation from any continuous or pulsed digital source.

The Safe and Sound RF Detector is a compact, simple to use detector for Radio Frequency / Microwave Radiation. Manufactured and designed in Canada with circuit boards that are made in Silicon Valley, USA. Provides a quick and simple assessment of the RF present in your environment and requires no technical experience. It uses color coded LED’s which correlate to measurement ranges to assess the RF exposure in your environment. The Safe and Sound also has a sound signature analysis which helps identify which RF Sources you are being exposed to. Built on the technology of the Safe and Sound Pro II the Safe and Sound Classic II has an accurate and fast response to environmental RF exposures.

The 9CI Real-time kinematic (RTK) GPS for rolling density meters (RDM) is a direct replacement for the consumer-grade Garmin Bluetooth GPS on the GSSI PaveScan RDM. It mounts directly onto the PaveScan RDM cart, provides 2.5cm accuracy, and requires no configuration. Simply place on the roof of a vehicle or on a tripod above a pre-surveyed location. The base performs a self-survey-in when powered on. the RTK-RDM has a 2km typical range between base and rover, allowing for large sections of road to be measured without the need to move the base station. It comes in a drop safe, rain-tolerant IP52 enclosure and can operate from -10C (+14F) to +60C (+140F).  RTK-RDM units are designed, manufactured, and assembled by 9CI in North America.
